These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ampero mobile application ("Application") created by zukasoft ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Application, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.
2. Description of Service
Ampero is an electrical engineering calculator application that provides calculation modules for cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit analysis, transformer sizing, grounding, and other electrical engineering tasks. The Application is provided for informational and professional reference purposes.
3. Disclaimer of Liability
The calculations and results provided by the Application are for reference purposes only. While we strive for accuracy based on IEC 60364, NEC, IEC 60909, and IEC 61386 standards, you acknowledge that:
- All results should be verified by a qualified electrical engineer before use in any real-world installation or project.
- We are not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses arising from reliance on the Application's calculations.
- Local codes, regulations, and site-specific conditions may require adjustments beyond what the Application provides.
- The Application does not replace professional engineering judgment.
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
The Application offers free and paid ("Pro") tiers:
- Free tier: Includes four core calculation modules with advertisements.
- Pro tier: Unlocks all 11 modules and removes advertisements. Available as a monthly ($2.99/month) or yearly ($19.99/year) subscription.
Subscriptions are processed and managed through Apple's App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
5. Free Trial
The yearly Pro subscription includes a 7-day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your subscription will begin and you will be charged at the applicable rate.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and trademarks in the Application are the property of zukasoft. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Application or its content without our prior written consent.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application;
- Use the Application for any unlawful purpose;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Application's systems or networks;
- Redistribute or resell the Application or its output in a commercial product without permission.
8. Availability and Updates
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Application (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We may also release updates that change features, fix bugs, or alter pricing. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, zukasoft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Application.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
